Oh god I actually have lots of Robins shopping thoughts.

So like Jason is what you all said. Except I think he also buys gossip magazines. Oh, and sometimes he’ll do things like buy a ton of lubricant and then every phallic shaped thing he can to mess with the cashier. They look at him and he’s just pokerface all the way.

Dick doesn’t go for ages and ages until he runs out of cereal, then he goes and buys like, everything that catches his eye, especially weird things, like those fruit fusions. He’s like “oh my god, a grape and an apple had a baby, it’s a grapple. I need twenty of them.” And the toys they have hanging in the aisles, he buys all of those.

Tim creates a really specific list with every item that he double checks at home before leaving. He only buys what is on the list and gets really irritated waiting in lines and feels super awkward when cashiers are friendly with him or look at his purchase. Also, it really bothers him when things aren’t bagged correctly so like fruits are beneath heavy things that can bruise them. He never says anything about it, though, he just runs out to the car and rearranges everything.

Steph owns the re-usable bags that are environmentally friendly, but she always forgets them at home because she never decides to go shopping until she’s already out. Then she feels really bad and won’t get the plastic or paper bags, she just tries to carry everything herself. Also she is incapable of getting through the aisle without grabbing candy or gum off the rack. She is good about carrying around coupons with her, though, so she can get some pretty nice deals!

Damian sends Dick to shop for him and then is horrified when Dick returns with the entire store and balloons. So then he makes Dick go with him so he can show him the proper way one buys food, only to find it kind of overwhelming, like, how do you tell if green beans are good and what sound should a cantaloupe make when you shake it and why do they put things so high up, god, but he won’t let Dick help at all, so he just gets everything and then has to pretend it is all perfect even if he got bad fruit or whatever. Alfred secretly replaces his bad food with good food when Damian isn’t looking.

And Carrie Kelly rides a horse through the store the end.

And these aren’t even all my thoughts, I have more about they all are when shopping in different pairs. Except for Carrie, because of the lack of interaction.
